Which paper should you buy?

We only stock three stocks, and they cover almost everything.

100gsm ivory — fountain-pen friendly

Our default. Takes wet ink without feathering or bleed-through, and has enough tooth that pencil doesn't skate.

160gsm textured — mixed media

Heavy enough for light washes. Slight texture that shows in graphite and dry media.

90gsm cream — everyday

Lighter and warmer. Fine for ballpoint, gel and pencil; we don't recommend pressed fountain nibs on it.

Testing note

All our paper is tested with a Pelikan M400 fine nib and Diamine ink at 55% relative humidity. If a stock fails, it doesn't go in the catalogue.
